Gab Gab Beach

Gab Gab Beach
Sylvin's from the Virgin Islands and I'm from Indiana. We met in St. Croix in 2000 when I was on contract there as a nurse. It all started there on a beautiful sandy beach....then lots of moves and an eventful adoption of our twin girls..Esyanne and Evelisse in 2006. We feel our greatest milestone yet!
We've come to a semi cirlce,.....hence the sandy beaches....This site is all about our adventures in Guam and archives of our first year in Michigan together. Me, Syani, Eve and Sylvin too! We're so very very blessed!
Please feel free to leave a comment at the end of a post. I enjoy the feedback and it lets me know you've been here. Or if you prefer email, send me some at guam.usvigirl@gmail.com

hangin in

I snuck up on the girls just recently one morning and took the above video. I moved some stuff around in the house and rearranged some of their toys. I put a toy box in Eve's room and the play kitchen in Sy's. They've been going back to their rooms and playing back there. They were blabbling and being so loud the other day I just couldn't resist getting them on tape. Especially since every time they see the camera they start whining.
Not much else to report, it's been pretty mundane. Memorial Day weekend came and went. It wasn't adventurous, we went to the pool, mowed the lawn and played outside quite a bit. The girls discovered the neighbor girls, and we've been going over there and playing in the evening.
Sylvin's yet to make it home, but he's close, so it won't be long now. I can't wait to see him. I'm pooped and definitely need a small break. The girls are very aware that Papi's on his way home. They told me tonight while taking a bath they wanted to 'Go eat on Papi's boat'. Sometimes on special occasions we'll have a function on the ship where we all eat in the Galley. I guess they remember going. Amazing what they can recall.
Love and miss you all.

P.S. Sy's the one sitting on the left, and Eve's standing on the right. Try to keep up if you can.
P.S.S. Hopefully the next post will be me telling you how wonderful it is to have Sylvin home.

Consider this if you are feeling overwhelmed and blue:

There are only two things to worry about:
Either you are well or you are sick.
If you are well, there's nothing to worry about.

But if you are sick,
There are only two things to worry about:
Either you get well, or you die.
If you get well, there's nothing to worry about.

But if you die, there are only two things to worry about:
Either you will go to Heaven or Hell.
If you go to Heaven, there's nothing to worry about.

But if you go to Hell,
You'll be so busy shaking hands with friends
You won't have time to worry.

Cheers!
James
