Enjoying their bubble bath
Sorry for piling the videos on ya'll. But I told Sylvin I'd post these for him.
We had a pretty good weekend. The girls are on the rebound. Feeling alot better, still running noses and they'll actually hold still when I try to wipe it. Eve will even go and get her own kleenex for me to wipe it. Now that's what I call progress. Speaking of progress I'm also adding a video of Eve saying her numbers. They both know the names of the numbers and can point to the right when when I ask where it's at, but they can't count in sequention yet.
Hope you all have a good week, thanks for stopping by.

Dancing at the fridge
Thank you all for the sweet comments. This video is for Uncle John, but I wanted everyone to see it as well. (Sy is the one there first, Eve is the first one to wipe out and Beans makes a special guest appearance!) I was on the phone with John the other day when I had seen the girls jump up at the end of a certain song. I thought it was so funny, cause they were waiting for it to come so they could jump and so I caught it on video. They're both feeling a little better. That whole statement about not having as much rain, well it rained all week. Right after the storm clouds passed us, they've all turned into typhoons, so I'm not complaining about the rain anymore. One of them hitting where Sylvin is so they had to cease all work and tie everything down. He said they might even have to move to the safety shelter but he doubted it since it was only a little typhoon, 65-80 mile hour winds. He said, and I'm quoting, "Oh that's just a drive down the highway." But then again we're talking to a West Indian.
So the weather has kept us indoors mostly this week. The girls have been driving me nuts about going to the beach. Even though they feel horrible and it's raining out. They've both got runny noses and if you have a weak stomache you might want to pass this up. This morning Eve was blowing literal snot bubbles out one nostril of her nose and in amazement over it. I was laughing pretty hard at her. They're talking blue streaks. Usually isn't really audible yet, but they getting more confident about doing it. They love talking to Sylvin on the phone when they're not busy trying to kiss it.
Hope you all have a good week. One more down and several more to go. But closer nonetheless.
Love and smooches from all of us.

A Quick Update
(They love puting my socks on)
Wow! I haven't written anything this month yet! Well, thanks for checking in with us. HI ANG! I know you're here almost everyday and today I'm giving ya good cause. We haven't really been doing anything spectacular and I've not been too busy to write either. We've just been here....waiting for Sylvin to come home. The girls are good, getting bigger by the day. I measured them the other day, they're both exactly 34.5 inches tall. Sy's feeling a bit under the weather today. She had a fever this am and didn't want any of her breakfast. I was thinking the other night, this SAHM thing is almost like being a prison warden. I keep a tight schedule, keep the little indians in line, feed em three squares and make sure lights are out by 9pm. The 'prisoners' even get to stretch their legs out in the 'yard' on a daily basis. It's not that bad I guess, but I still have to report and get my orders from the Comissioner and have to confer with him. I just thought it was pretty ironic how many similiarites there were. As much as I love it here and I miss my husband. He's been gone 3 months now and although we see a light at the end of the tunnel we've still got a way to go with this dry dock. Poor Sylvin has been working seven days a week. He took this weekend off. The first one he's had since he's been there (not counting being home for the week in August).
I have made some friends here, but spending too much time with any woman besides my real friends back home and I'm just asking for trouble. It's impossible to try and keep an odd number of women happy all at the same time. I'm sure it'll be fine in time, just need some time to chill apart. Hopefully we'll all have a chance to miss one another and it'll get better. No worries!
(They had gotten into and destroyed a whole jar of vicks vapor rub. As you can tell they thought it was for their hair! Took me a little over week and three shampoos to get the 'grease' out of their hair. I was told I emtied a whole jar of vaseline one afternoon after a nap when I was about their age. Mom said everything within reach was coated with it. I think they did me proud on this one.)
On a brighter note, it hasn't rained here as much as it did last summer. So that's kept my mood from completely plummeting. It still rains daily, just not all day.
Thank God I do have the girls here with me. Some days it doesn't look like much of a blessing, but those are just bad days and they are my biggest blessing. They're always willing to laugh and play. To chase me around the house, help me with whatever I'm trying to do and even take the much cherished nap. I'm putting up some pictures of the two turkies, as they're affectionately referred to, that I took when their Papi was home.
Please pray I'll keep my sanity and patience.
Love to you all and we miss you. Come visit us! I'd welcome any company I can get!
