John and Ang gave me the idea a couple years ago when they were taking Janie's picture with John every year when he got home from the annual fishing trip in Canada. John is scruffy faced from not shaving in an old beat up brimmed leather looking hat holding Sarah Jane on the front door step. So I started our own 'famous' shot in front of the flag around July 4th. I thought only fitting for a guy in uniform huh? Well, here's this years....
Sylvin said they have to stand next year. Getting too heavy for the old man.
I'm sure you remember this shot from last year?
Sylvin's from the Virgin Islands and I'm from Indiana. We met in St. Croix in 2000 when I was on contract there as a nurse. It all started there on a beautiful sandy beach....then lots of moves and an eventful adoption of our twin girls..Esyanne and Evelisse in 2006. We feel our greatest milestone yet!
We've come to a semi cirlce,.....hence the sandy beaches....This site is all about our adventures in Guam and archives of our first year in Michigan together. Me, Syani, Eve and Sylvin too! We're so very very blessed!

Those pics are awesome! I'm sure you and Sylvin will instill a great sense of patriotism in the girls. Deb and I had a wonderful visit here with Jacquie and Bunk. We all thought of you at a restaurant we went to that had a reggae band playing. ;-)
We miss you all!
Love James
